Students Support Classmate with Cancer by Shaving Their Heads

I recently came across this heartwarming story about students at an elementary school in Colorado. Their 9 year old classmate, Marlee Pack, was returning to school after undergoing chemotherapy. Of course, their classmate lost all of her hair as a side effect of the chemotherapy. To show their support and make her transition back to school a little easier, dozens of her classmates and teachers shaved their heads. The event also raised $25,000 for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

It brings tears to my eyes thinking about what little Marlee went through and how brave she is. It brings tears of joy to my eyes hearing about the outpouring of love and support her classmates gave her. These elementary school kids know how to Be More Awesome!
