For the last 9 years, Central Pennsylvania’s radio station, 105.7 The X, has held a “Pay 4 Play” radiothon to raise money for Penn State Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network.
In 2015 they raised $210,052, bringing their 9-year grand total to $1,004,200.
Pay 4 Play is a 28 hour radio marathon hosted by the station’s morning crew, Nipsey, Earl David Reed, and Jen Shade, where listeners can call in and request songs in exchange for donations.
