Officers from the Tarpon Springs Police Department stepped in for a fallen colleague, to escort his daughter to prom night.
Officer Charlie Kondek was shot and killed when he responded to a noise complaint call in 2014. His colleagues felt it was their duty to fill in for him and send his daughter, Aleena, off to her prom.
Aleena says she was proud to have her police family with her and feels that her dad was there watching too.
