Crosswalks in Madrid are Delighting Pedestrians and Keeping Kids Safe

Artist Christo Guelov has created eye-popping crosswalks all over the city of Madrid. When presented to the municipal council, they told him they thought it might actually help encourage people to cross the street safely and properly.  See more pictures of his sidewalk art here.
