Ellie was just two-years-old when she was diagnosed with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, which affects her fine motor skills, walking and speech. Now that Elli is 6, her symptoms aren’t getting worse and they could be managed with the assistance of a service dog. Service dogs are not cheap, so Ellie’s hometown had “Ellie’s Night” at a local restaurant, Blue Collar Steakhouse, to help raise funds for the dog.
