Happiness is an elusive emotion. You might have thought or said at one point, Iâ€™ll be happy when (Fill in the Blank). But have you ever noticed that even if you get what you thought you wanted you still might be not happy.
Happiness is a state of mind. When you do something for someone or help another person your body releases a chemical that at least for the moment makes you feel happy.
So why not help someone every day. It can be something small like letting someone go in front of you in a line or something bigger like helping a friend move into a new home. Maybe you donate your time to a non-profit or take a neighbor to a movie.
Whatever you do, do it with all your heart and kindness. Youâ€™ll be happy you did.
