Do you complain? I sure do. Everyone does. Some complaints are small. “I had to wait 20 minutes in line at the grocery store.†Some complaints are big. “I can’t believe the doctor misdiagnosed my illness.â€
Sometimes we think we are just telling the facts, but our vocal inflection and body language tell otherwise.
It is so easy to complain and find fault. The problem is every time we complain we are making ourselves the victim. It’s time to take back your control and take action. This week pay close attention to how much you complain. Awareness is the first step. Next try to replace your negative thoughts with positive ones.
Put your hand on your heart and say:
I choose to be a problem solver.
